Jennifer is a neuroaffirming counsellor who supports clients by honouring and working with their natural ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world. Her approach starts from the understanding that neurodivergence is a valid, valuable form of human diversity—not something to fix or suppress. She creates a space where clients can show up exactly as they are, without masking, and where their sensory needs, communication styles, and nervous-system rhythms are fully respected.
Jennifer helps clients make sense of their experiences with compassion and curiosity, offering tools that reduce shame, build self-trust, and support regulation. She focuses on helping people understand their brains and bodies, navigate stress and overwhelm, unlearn harmful internalized messages, and create environments that work for them rather than against them.
Through collaborative, strengths-based work, Jennifer supports clients in building lives that align with their values, needs, and identities. Whether someone is newly exploring neurodivergence or has known for years, she offers grounding, practical, and affirming guidance every step of the way.
Fun facts about Jennifer…
You’ll often find her biking or swimming—usually trying to keep up with her kids 🚴♀️ 🌊
She’s wanted to be a psychologist for as long as she can remember (some kids dreamed of being astronauts; she dreamed of understanding people) 🧠
She has a dog who thinks she’s her assistant—though she’s terrible at paperwork 🐶
Pineapple on pizza? She respectfully, and passionately, votes “no” ❌🍍🍕
